How are you holding the battery down?

What do you plan to use the battery for as that’s a lot of heavy duty cabling you’re using? |

How I solder 175amp lugs, with two 120watt irons & half fill the lug with solder & also pre heat the wire with another iron. It's hard to get enough heat into 6awg wire but 2 irons make it easier.

If charging at 20 amps over 10 metres (there & back) that's 0.264 voltage drop. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Probably use webbing over and around the battery going through the tie down point behind it, although I haven't settled on the location/orientation yet, see how it works with the fridge in situ. MY11 SD4 SE Auto |

A few photos down this page of my custom fridge bracket. It's only 6mm thick so it is fixed in permanently. Maybe some ideas for a bracket for the battery.
