What are people finding are the best aftermarket dog guards? Land Rover ones are a ridiculous price so I was looking at a travall one. Has anyone got one fitted to know if they are of reasonable quality and rattle free? |

If it helps look closely at the eBay ads. as i picked up a genuine LR used one with full fitting kit from a LR dealer parts department in Halifax for £50, basically car traded in and dealer put it on eBay. Ironically we don't have a dog but have always fitted one to keep boot items in the boot incase of an accident. |

as said above, keep an eye on Ebay etc, they do come up cheap sometimes and the fitting brackets aren't essential

I wanted a dog guard and read that the Travall was very good, a hunt on eBay and I got one £15! Ok I had to drive an hour to get it but it is brilliant, easy to fix no rattles solid and you can drop the rear seats if you need to without removing it! |

Many thanks for the advice. I need one fairly quickly. There are a few genuine Land Rover ones on ebay but all a fair distance from me. Unfortunately they are a little too big for Hermes etc to courier for a reasonable price so I will go with a travall one. |

you wont go wrong with it, easy to fit and remove, good quality, and as has been said you can fold the back seats down and still carry long loads without removing it unlike the full height LR one which only has a little hatch. |
