Relay / Indicator fault

Past few days - the drivers side indicator has done the double quick flash thingy that normally tells you there is a bulb out. On outside examination, there wasn't although the front indicator bulb was dim while flashing.
This problem has intermittently gone away and come back over the last 48 hours, making me think that a relay may be coming loose?
No clues in the handbook as to how to find the correct relay.
Anyone else had this problem? Can help me find the right relay to check its not half out of the socket?
Any other solutions that do not involve a trip to the dealers that I dont have time for?

thanks all
Andy

Relay qualifications can be obtained at your local atheletics club Whistle

Sounds like a faulty headlamp control module. There is no simple relay system on the FL2, the lights are controlled by computer, as is everything else.

Get the dealer to check it out, should have loged as a fault code.

so marooned in Manchester car park with faulty lights I called out Landrover Assistance and after 2 hours and 2 phone calls they showed up.

The guy thought it was an earth fault and took about 10 mins to find it.
In the drivers side headlamp assembly connector block, the earth cable had not been properly seated at manufacture, so that instead of engaging fully in the block, when the block was connected the spade fitting merely touched the connector on the cable rather than engaging with it. It had obviously managed 7000 miles like this, but had finally moved far enough away from the spade terminal to break the connection.

It will be a trip to the dealer to have a new connector fitted as this one is faulty and missing a locking tab.
In the meantime he has effected a good repair.
