Front wipers aren't working

Hi All,

On a trip return trip to manchester, my wipers decided to pack in, initially it worked intermittently depending on how much I swore and which way I put the V's up at it.

They doesn't work at all now. I've taken the motor/linkage off and it works on the bench. I'm getting 10.64v at the plug but only on one terminal.

I'm knackered without it. Any help or advice appreciated.

Fuse ok.

I've read this, not the case on mine.

I think it switch or complete module on this one.

It's going to be expensive.

Get a passenger and string through from front windows to wiper arms if you are ever really stuck Razz

Best of luck with it and let us know what the outcome was please. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Hmmmm I think that may not be the best advice.

Anyone want to buy a freelander?

Check the relays. Someone on here had same sort of problem and turned out to be a relay.

Not necessarily, for example my son's Skoda Fabia VRs suddenly died. The "AA " equivalent bloke said it was a "dead ECU and going to cost hundreds". He wanted to tow it to his nearest garage but I got it towed home and then to a local VAG independent That Id used before. Total cost was £45 for the fitting of a ECU power relay which was nice . Jules
