Gearbox snatching going uphill

Had an issue recently with my FL2 going up hill. Occasionally the whole car snatches like it lost grip momentarily and regained it straight away. This has happened on dry roads with no signs of anything slippery on the road. It has the auto gearbox fitted and I am unsure what would cause this, so would be grateful for any ideas.

Car only has 60,000 on the clock and just mainly gets used round town.

The solenoids time(s) have been auto-adapted/set for normal driving and torque requirements, in order to delivery a smooth change.
During uphill up/down changes, the times between switching gears are normally smaller in order to deliver the same smoothness.
Up until the box will adapt to the new situation(s), those snatches will appear when the box will switch gears downwards. Don't worry, it's normal to a point.

Thanks Alex,

It does not feel like it is actually changing gear though as the revs don’t change. Had the car 5 years but it has only recently started to happen

Just was concerned that it might be haldex related.

My last FL2 used to do something similar occasionally , but only during hot weather and only after running for some time (hot).
When I Goggled it I found that it was common on that model of gearbox including those fitted to the very similar Volvo V60.

I also came across this post from Alex which mentions the problem.
