Well week 2 of owning a Discovery Sport and it has already failed to start on me 3 times. Something to do with "Steering Column Locked". A quick wiggle of the column and putting the key underneath and it starts but its a pain in the A***. |

The amount of non starting because of the stupid steering lock recently is worrying. |

Change the fob batteries, about £1.20 and job sorted I suspect. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |

I had that the other day, turned out the key was in the house,not in the car as wife promised. (she can never find the keys in her handbag collection)

Mine sulks every 2 years if it does not get new fob batteries. Won’t fire up without fob literally sat under the steering wheel, you get an error message and I have lock and unlock car again with me sat in it and fob as said under wheel. New batteries and all forgiven.
