My wife takes cod liver oil tablets each day and they seem to work. If she does stop them for a while she does start getting aches etc. Might be all in her head but it works for her

I take both and yes find it a great benefit as when I had to stop for a week there was a huge difference.

Yup. Join the club.

I take Glucosamine & Chondroitin with additional Omega 3 capsules for joints. It's probably an age thing!

Folic acid is good for memory but I can't remember why!

A small soluble aspirin each day is supposed to help with heart stuff and strokes?

I've experimented with other things. Once when my eyes felt very dry my wife suggested I try Evening Primrose Oil capsules - seemed to do the trick.

My body is just wearing out! As Andycom said it's probably all in the head but mental resilience helps to stave off quite a bit!

I also take iron tablets but it's a Censored when you go too close to a magnet. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

Much better fun to eat salmon, kippers, sardines, etc. with a nice chilled Rosado. And fresh garlic in chilli, shepherds pie, on your potatoes, with a warming Pinot Noir.

thanks guys,

my wife has always maintained we have a healthy diet and shouldn't need supplements, and refuses to follow my regime.

we are both in our sixties and she is now having athritic symptoms in her hands, but still cynical about taking supplements.
