ALL TERRAIN RESPONSE NOT AVAILABLE

Big Cry Hello freelander td4 enthusiast! I have a 2008 Freelander TD4 2.2 liter turbodiesel and the main problem is the ALL TERRAIN SYSTEM IS NOT AVAILABLE. At least thats what the message says in the instrument panel says. also the light in the all terrain knob is out. I checked the fuse at the rear panel and its all ok. I checked underneath and cleaned all the connections in the rear diff and it appears to be ok. nevertheless I cleaned all the connectors. I saw a video in the youtube to disconnect the throttle sensor and it became stock close and so I had to reset the throttle manually. pls help

Firstly don't panic, I went on all sorts of rough tracks & sand around Australia & the car works perfectly ok in road setting. Usually getting to the destination & then realising that I hadn't changed any setting!

It's far more important to reduce tire pressure to suit the surface you are driving on. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Get the error codes read
It could be as simple as a bad connection to a wheel sensor- the system needs to know the speed of each wheel to operate.
Granted this should also throw up an ABS fault Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner
