Fitting Of New Battery

Hi All

I am just about to fit a new battery to my 2009 TD4 HSE as the old battery was flat after listening to the radio for only an hour or so without the engine on, admittedly with the doors open and therefore the footwell courtesy lights on and the puddle lights under the door sills on as well (these four bulbs are now removed !)

I have purchased a Bosch S5 010 of 85Ah and a CCA of 800A.

I have three questions that you might be able to help me with...

1) The original battery was 80Ah, is it a problem to replace it with an 85Ah battery ?

and

2) Do I have to let the ECU "know" that the battery has been replaced ?

The work I was doing with the radio on was a bit of fault finding w.r.t. the DPF and I found the short length of rubber hose between two sections of stainless pipe for the pressure sensor after the DPF was perished ( a common fault I believe from reading the discussions on this website)...and so....the third question...

3) I believe the two sensors hoses have two slightly different diameters of 6mm and 7mm.... as the hose is in such a perished condition it is difficult to measure the difference even with a pair of callipers but I think it is 7mm ID...can anyone confirm this please for the after DPF pressure sensor hose and piping ?

Many thanks in advance
