Beep Beep

Periodically I've noticed when driving a beep from the FL2.. sounds much like you've left your 'key' in the slot etc type of tone...

My only thought is might it be something to do with the outside temp being less than 4C or something?

There's nothing on the screen other than *4C etc
Anyone else getting beeps

Just did a trip Norwich to London return...lovely car! But did notice the average mpg goes down the harder you press the right hand pedal!

It will be the ice warning - double beep plus flashing ice symbol on the display. Standard on many cars and activates at +4 deg C. Getting plenty of those lately.

They hibernate when it gets to 4 deg C - maybe that what the beep is for Laughing 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Two short beeps in mine.

It took me by surprise the first time it happened - I was looking round at all the displays wondering wtf the car was trying to tell me, before I noticed the 'snowflake' icon!
