United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Loire Blue

Just a thought but if you wanted to drive a LandRover on the cheap the best way would be to buy a Hyundai or Mazda or similar and put some Discovery Sport badges on it. I doubt if anyone would notice since they all look the same nowadays anyway. Laughing 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Only the center "Honey Comb" part was painted. I masked inside the line you can see between the center and the silver/chrome surround.

I was aiming for the look of the "Dynamic" as shown in the 2014 brochure (it didn't have the body kit in the brochure).

Looks like the bit surrounding the honeycomb on yours was already black. Mine is grey. Will take a pic at some point, but never uploaded any onto this site. I'm sure it'll be easy enough

Do the 3 spars in black and it'll stand out more. Thumbs Up

But it'll be grey because of the grill colour, not as a body match, it just so happens it's very close.
Was the same with mine too, not so noticeable against my dark grey.
Would be nice to see it body coloured in a more prominent colour though. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Mine is all grey the same as Deano's
Its the little chrome surround strip on mine that is a little discoloured in places. I wonder if the strip is replaceable? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Agree with the comments on the current LR range - we looked at the new DS but wasn't for us and have gone German instead Shocked
