First few issues

So had it over 1 month now and in the past few days, have had the following:
1) Rear nearside door won't open from the inside, the lock mechanism doesn't pop out - door actuator perhaps?
2) Last night the passenger side door mirror wouldn't unfold when unlocking the car, gave it a bit of a push (Needed to drive home), and it moved, then it wouldn't close, so had to play with it a few times, seems to be working again now though
3) Condensation in rear offside light cluster, quite a bit actually, worse than I used to get on the D3 Laughing

Oh and I guess you can add to the list 'Hesitation' around 1500 rpm

Any of the above common faults with FL2's?

I'm under warranty, so will ring LR and get it booked in

I guess it wouldn't be a Land Rover without keeping you on your toes Whistle

Personally I'd say they are all common problems. Mine has suffered all of them as well. Remap & blanking the egr solved the hesitation. Replacement rear light unit solved the condensation issue. Mirrors just need manual exercising & silicone lube every so often. Rear door lock the same but a bit of silicone lube also sorted that for now. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Hi mate, the mirror exercise which you'll find on here is well worth doing copper grease seems to be the stuff but where I am so close to sea I used marine grease (which I had here ) and haven't touched them since.

Bit scary pushing the mirrors on your pride and joy in the WRONG direction Shocked but it works Thumbs Up If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny.

What JulesK said. It spreads the grease across the bits and bats. Never use WD40 or similar.

I've not heard of a problem with the rear lights having condensation problems. My high level brake light has the problem though, but that doesn't help you. Rolling with laughter Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018
