Well that's the insurance and breakdown cover sorted for another year - best insurance deal was with Admiral at a few pence over £500 but hey I do live in SE London, which is a hot-bed of car crime according to the insurance companies. Renewal with Axa was £700, which they graciously said they could reduce to £625.

As an ex- S Londoner I don't think it's just car crime, although I had a bit of that (radio and spare wheel stolen, not off the FL2s). It's also other drivers, like the drunk in a van who came down Lordship Lane and shunted five cars, and general crime, like the guys who parked outside our house and set fire to their stolen car, melting the back of my neighbour's car in the process.
