Do you have a second keyfob? If so, does the car respond to any of the commands sent from it?

...........just got it back !

In summary - they replaced the BCU and managed to re-boot most of the computers, but not all.

Despite disconnecting the battery for days etc they believe that some of the computers retain a small charge in their capacitors, meaning that they also retain any corrupt software.

So, they also replaced any non-functioning computers - and now it works.... Thumbs Up

Except for the boot alarm, which still triggers the main alarm when the boot is opened....... Big Cry

And guess what - I think I'll live with this problem, otherwise it will be another month of screwing around... Evil or Very Mad

Good to hear the problem is solved jimmy.

Fortunately, so far those kind of problems of all of the FL2's are solved for free - thanks to the 3 year's guarantee. I wonder what it would cost once the term of guarantee is expired.... Shocked
