replacing headlamp washer.

Following an altercation with my gate, I now need to replace the n/s headlamp washer. (whats left of it). The outer plastic casing has snapped off, but the remaining part seems to be stuck into the bumper. Do I just destroy the remaining bit and pull it out hoping that the water pipe is still attached?

I'm now on the look out for a n/s headlamp washer for a 13MY if anyone has one. Whistle Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018

As far as I know they have an outer casing which on some cars is body colored. They are available to buy separately online or from dealer quite reasonably priced.
The washer part if it still works should be okay so hopefully no need to replace that.
To get it out remove the fog lamp bezel by pulling it off with a finger in the recess, quite easy.
Then unscrew and remove the fog lamp, just let it hang out of the way.
It’s a bit awkward, but if you then look up at the underside of the washer nozzle unit, you’ll see a metal C shaped spring clip which holds the washer in place against the bumper casing.
You can lever the clip off with a flat screwdriver or similar tool. You should then be able to withdraw the nozzle assembly and detach the hose.
The new cover should just clip over the nozzle, then refit reversing the above. Derek Hill
