I've got Thule roof bars and feet, no problems with quality and easy to put on and remove. Different versions depending on whether you've got a sunroof or not. Got mine from.

If it’s for bikes a tow bar rack maybe better. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years FL2 MY13 TD4 GS Current |

if you don't want the full roof rails (genuine or aftermarket) then its a definite for the Prorack Whispbars, they are a brilliant bit of kit and can be left on all the time with minimal wind noise or loss in MPG |

As you won't have all the 'nooks & crannies' from the D4, and as you need the extra space, look at utilising the spare wheel well as best you can. If [like me] you have a full size spare wheel, look at inverting it to make use of its depth. You'll first need to protect the face, then shorten the long threaded securing bolt. I've got a lot of stuff packed in and around the wheel well. examples:- towing strop, plastic traction boards, folding shovel, compressor & loads more, plus what you can make out in the pic. My boot space therefore is totally empty, ready for any big items I may have to carry.

What I have is very similar to RonP’s photo, but I put my overalls in last and that pads out to support the floor - i’ve had heavy loads in above and no sign of it bending...yet! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

I’d say would probably be ok with out the locating bolt with stuff packed around its unlikely to move much , think I’ll use mine like that. Guessing a piece of carpet in the wheel well would protect it suitably. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Absolutely no problem with boot floor support, in fact it's the opposite, I need to keep items out in order for the floor to sit flat. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:- Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip, Bluetooth Music Streaming Module. |

I would recommend keeping the securing bolt - in the event of an accident (roll) the loose spare might make a mess of anything inside the car when it tries to get out Cheers, Raz FL1 TD4 GS Auto 2001 Silver FL2 TD4 Auto 2007 Black FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2012 Fuji White |

You can cut the securing bolt down (as I did) when fitting an inverted spare. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-
