Right, picked up a Roof box this morning off the Disco forum, I think holiday storage now sorted
Just completed my 1st full tank, managed 508 miles and range stated 6 miles, so very happy with that and all in all, loving the FL2 ![]() Found a HSE wheel with a scorpion zero on eBay also, so will get that purchased today ![]() |

looks good Iguana, but I would shift the roof bars back a little if possible so the rear bar is in line with the vertical quarter glass line on the rear window and the front bar is in line with the B pillar.... supposed to be maximum strength points.

Do these roof bars clamp around the body of the FL2?

Yes around body, front one now over A frame, back right at back of door
I think I need to move box forward a fraction, but I think that looks good otherwise? ![]() |

Noting that first pic, the position of the roof bars is a little forward to that recommended by Pro Rack using the Whispbars .

Full size spare (Thanks to eBay) turned up today, fits in the hole, as well as Jack, tools and a few other things. Dog crate is strapped down on top, so holds it all in place - Also kepeing the 12v pump that came with the puncture kit
Mu old Disco 2 Jack also works a treat ![]()
Next steps on the mods, is to fit the rack (using Roof box clamps) and see if the clamps ar elong enough for the box and rack together - gives room to carry things as well as what's in the box for long trips |

It may be worth checking your trailer nose weight is not too heavy. The car is noticeable down at the rear compared to the front which could be a serious problem in an emergency situation. Derek Hill

It may be down at the rear but at 60mph ( max towing speed in the UK) the max nose weight is 220KG, providing the gross axle weight is not exceeded, though with a trailer like that you could not carry much or anything in the rear without exceeding the gross axle weight. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
