As afar as I am aware the front & rear wheel bearings are the same. A little research online will confirm it.👍

Hi,

It seemed the early freelander had same bearing back and front.
Freelander 2 has part number LR041425 (rear bearing)
I can not find any one who sells the front bearing without the hub (part number LR003157)
I suppose if you have the resources to push the bearing out the hub you will discover, if it is the same.
I would advise (unless you have a workshop) you should consider buying the complete front knuckle.

Joe Fix it until it's broke !

Hi Joe! You are right. I realized that today. Don't buy front bearings without the hub. Rear bearings without hub are okay.

I have 12 ton bench press which pushes out the bearings but it is an expensive remedy if you only use it once. As I use it on other jobs its ok for me ( and also cracking brasil nuts at chrismas Whistle ) If it ain't ***ked don't fix it
