A few questions regarding audio on my…

…2009 TD4 HSE.

The Adaptive Volume Control doesn’t appear to be working.
I have set it on maximum, but still nothing…
Not major as there is a volume button on the steering wheel, but curious
as to why it’s not doing it’s thing…

The second thing is that the steering lock doesn’t seem to be working.
I have an invoice that says it was replaced not long ago.
I would expect it to engage when removing the key, but it doesn’t and there
Are no error messages…

Oh, and the rear 12 volt socket on the centre console doesn’t work…
Easy replacement…?

Any thoughts…?

Thank you in advance.

Take it back under the sale of goods act and ask the seller to ensure the car is corrected to your satisfaction as it seems you have made a recent purchase. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Good advice, thank you. I still have the balance of the 3rd party warranty
for what it’s worth. Even so, if the steering lock is faulty and less than a year
old, that should be covered by the manufacturers warranty…

I just wondered if some things were easy fixes or stuff I could look at first, as
I don’t mind getting the tool box out… After all we wouldn’t buy Land Rovers
if we did…!
