2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black

How many discs

Hi all
I've only had the car for 4 years, so bear with me.
How do I know (without trying to jam lots of discs in) how many discs my head unit will take?
Be nice to me now, 4 years isn't that long, been married 43 years and still haven't figured the wife out.

One circle means 1 CD:

6 circles means 6 CD's:

As soon as you turn it on without any discs in?

Correct - If there are discs installed the circles will be solid, if not installed they will be hollow.
