I think the part number for the torque converter based on your Vin number would be LR047187 but you will need to confirm this. |

They have a TC advertised on their wen site and when phone to enquire they dont have it. There is one on e bay I could get and have it recon.They say its suitable for my LR but also say it came from a 2008 vehicle ,Cant be suitable can it . Wonder why they are so rare ? |

There are several part numbers for the torque converter based on Vin number see attached your appears to be the bottom one.

I would google transmission part suppliers and phone around someone should know who supplies them |

I would be interested to learn why you think you need a new torque convertor. Presumably you think it's failing, in which case what are the symptoms? In principle they are simple devices and I have never come across a problem with one before, in fact I read that a lot of auto manufacturers are moving back from the clutch operated auto boxes to torque convertors for reliability. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

I had a problem with mine and had to have a recon one fitted, It's a common problem due to the fluid not being changed. my symptoms were shuddering at around 1800rpm |
