Why is that? If you remove the headlight, you need a 10mm wrench. This a method in which you can do it on the side of the road without using ANY tool. . |

... and assumes you've had the foresight to carry a spare bulb with you, in which case you might as well carry a spare 10mm ring spanner as well. Why make life difficult? I certainly wouldn't like to try the above method at the side of the road especially in the dark. |

This is a legal requirement on my country... You must have at least one headlight bulb, one stop bulb and one signal bulb on the trunk. Along with two (2) warning triangles, a fire extinguisher and a first aid kit. . |

Needing to take a spare set of bulbs when we go to France next month; does anyone know where to get a complete set? May otherwise need to head to Halfrauds and pick up individual bulbs. Thanks |

Aware Halfrauds do a set, although it doesn't include headlight, hence my comment about picking up individual bulbs. Would be good to buy a complete set. Did search LR site but came back nothing found, so thanks Southam.

Hellfrauds do sell HB3 IIRC but they wont sell them specific to LR/RR due to them blowing all the time. You could buy a normal spare box set from there and just some of their cheap HB3 separately maybe ? |

I made a set up from odd spares I had. I was told, yes in France you need a spare set of bulbs but you dont have to carry the tools required to change them - on some cars it means removing the bumper or wheel arch protection. Jules |

Wait, you're telling me someone owns a Land Rover and doesn't have a 10mm spanner in the car? Don't they know? Always carry a 10mm spanner in a post 2004 LR, it's practically the law |

All LR owners should be fitted with a prosthetic wrench.

No problem adding a cheap Halfrauds bulb to your kit as you're unlikely ever to use it. If you did find you needed it it would at least last until you got home!
