Are these easy to remove or is there a danger of breaking clips while doing it?

Hi Bob, they were a little stubborn but I just went slow and steady as I wasn't in any rush and managed to get them all out without any damage at all. Always a bonus when you remove something because you want to not cos you have too Very Happy If your going through hell, keep going!

Is there any videos on you tube that show you how to remove these pillars?

Hi I am fairly handy but I really didn't need a vid when you look at them they have studs running along the edge that the tailgate covers when closed, the studs are a large version of the studs that hold the plastic scuttle and battery box on with. Once you gently ease the middle up the studs can be pulled out. The panel just need to be pulled towards the rear of the car which frees it up from the window lip and hey presto one panel ready for covering.

Happy wrapping Thumbs Up

Thanks for the advise dragore

Well, did my rear pillars today.
Don't think they look as good on my darker colour and I reckon they'd suit a standard FL2 better than my 'off road' look - but def an improvement on the grey plastic..
Bike rack doesn't help though, nor do my light guards - which I removed [for the pic] so my rear light mod can be seen better.
Didn't help either that my windows were open, taking away from blending in with the darker tint.

btw, got my vinyl wrap here:

Only £5.50 and enough for the two pillars. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

More that the SVX is following me Laughing ..... had 'orange bits' for many years (even in my old D3, but gave it a miss on my Fuji D4 though).
It was the black 'stormer' style Evoque wheels I sold, got these ones in Silver a couple of years ago, but went back to black last Sept. Wink FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

NICE!! I think they look sweet even with the bike rack Laughing

Love the way it blends with your moded rear lights so might be a sheep and have a play myself there.

Love the whole mean purposeful look of your truck tbh and the little orange bits just add to the whole motor.
Thumbs Up If your going through hell, keep going!

That looks good so good I am going to have ago to. Did you use a hairdryer to help apply the wrap or did you just knead it on and stretch to fit. GS Sd4 2012

Thumbs Up @ Dragore

Re application:
I mainly kneaded the vinyl in with my thumbs (now sore under the nail & was bleeding Big Cry ).
I found that adding heat could stretch it and leave bubbles, ideal on the overlapped edges though.

Small point- when removing the plastic studs, make sure you just lever out the top, put a screwdriver in fully and you'll end up trying to prise out the stud along with the plug.

Good luck all. Thumbs Up

Once I'm totally convinced I may even take mine off and spray them for a more permanent feature. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,

I added a little heat from the misses hairdryer on the corners and wrapping it around the edges, I used a soft pencil eraser to work it into the curves as I also hurt my finger Rolling Eyes

I'm defiantly going to permanently change these to gloss black before the summer is over however not sure if I'm going to paint them or re-wrap but I will get rid of the stupid texture for sure.

Enjoy wrapping folks If your going through hell, keep going!
