Replacing wing mirror glass

Hi all,

My wing mirror drivers side has been broken, parked in Tesco, someone reversed and hit my mirror with theirs!

My MOT is due very soon and not sure if it will fail because of this, it is only a small crack in the corner of the glass.

I can buy one off ebay for around £17 pounds.

I have downloaded the 'diagrams' showing how to replace the glass, but it is not very clear to me. Do I just push the glass in at the top, then force/lever it out from the bottom, is it really that easy to do?

thanks

al
