Weird faint audible beep/bleep like and answer phone outside

Hi all,

anyone ever heard a small faint but audible beep/bleep when driving.
Not always but recently more often than not.

Not an in cab sound definitely from outside the cab

Wondered if anything on way out? or about to go? never heard it before and never driven with radio either so I would have noticed.

FYI its an FL2 sport TD4e coming up to 91k.

Had new haldex and haldex ECU and diff bearing repair last year.

Any thoughts welcomed.

Cheers

Are you being followed by the roadrunner? Rolling with laughter
If it's a single beep and the temperature is 4deg or lower it's the ice warning. Common sense isn't very common.

Hiya,

its not that one it not a noise that is in the car itself or form any dash related lights.
Its outside the car from under the bonnet or footwells.

Thanks

My ice warning doesnt beep, just appears orange snowflake symbol. Would quite like an audible alert for this, any idea how to reinstate? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Is it the audible warning for when you have set a speed alert ? I have mine set at 76 mph as a just in case. Bleeps and messages me and can be cleared by pressing OK or reducing speed. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I sometimes get a quiet beep from the rear end (oo er) about every 10 mins, and it took me a while to remember that the aftermarket towing relay unit beeps when right magic combination of lights on, fogs on/off is used...
