Because I like the look of them, I bought a set of dynamic mudflaps, they are NOT the version with the complex metal bracket for the front pair. Front flaps have 3 screw holes each, rear have 4, with the rear ones you undo a screw that's there and attach the top of the flaps with that screw.

I am not particularly handy in my older years and have no friends, so the option is get my local garage to fit them, or attempt it myself, which I tried earlier today with rear flaps and couldn't get the first (or second) screws to budge

It looks feasible to get at least 1 or 2 screws in front and rear, but not all of them.

Has anyone stuck them on with glue ? I once stuck a spoiler on my Honda Civic with sikaflex with no problems.

Other stuff available now I quess is gorilla glue, I was wondering if the gorilla tape would be as good as anything and less messy than the glue as plenty of the flaps surface sits against the inner wheel arch.

I can’t imagine any tape being robust enough to fix them securely although if you are able to use several of the screws it may do. I’d use sikaflex it’s good stuff! Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I doubt that anything other than the proper screws in the mounting points will have the strength to hold onto a flappy bit of rubber in all weathers. It is surprising how strong a couple of self tappers can be - get 'em fitted properly or you will be buying another set later  Cheers,

I fitted these to mine a few weeks ago, got the screw holes aligned in the end and added another 2 screws to each flap so they are more secure

all done, took me ages, they look really good, when you have no wrist movement and painful arthritic hands everything is difficult.
The underside screws were tricky, once I manage to actually get on the ground its debately whether I can get back up again after going through the pain barrier several times, a pretty good job done in the end.  2017 SEAT Ateca 4drive 2.0 xcellence (May 2022 -
