Has anyone been to the BFI IMAX in London near Waterloo station? Me and my mate are going to London on the train next Saturday for the day and have booked tickets for Avengers Infinity War. It's a complete sellout and it is the largest cinema screen in the UK apparently.

I used to work just the other side of Waterloo bridge to the iMax - you are correct about the entrance. If you like Indian food there used to be a number of good places around the edge of Covent Garden - one of the best is in the Strand Continental Hotel, there are a number of good pubs around the iMax area as well - have a good time. |

Cheers Thought I spotted what looked like an underpass entrance on street view. Luckily I had a £25 gift card to use so the tickets were £20. We should get there for 11am and the film isn't until 1:30pm so we will head to south bank for some lunch. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Might want to check out either South Bank market by the Royal Festival Hall or even Borough Market which is on the southside of London Bridge, although there's plenty of places to eat and drink in that area . . . . not sure whether you're acquainted with London beer prices though |

I saw an imax in Seattle showing helicopter footage just after the volcanic eruption, amazing.

Well that was outstanding and worth the trip for this special occasion. The screen is absolutely gigantic and the film itself beyond phenomenal. It’ll certainly need another viewing locally.
