Wolf steel wheels

I recently saw a Fl2 in North Wales with what looked like Wolf steel wheels fitted. The ones with a series of round holes in the web. I would like to fit some to my car for the winter, I see they available on ex-military suppliers websites . Does any one have experience of these and know whether the PCD and offset is OK as they would normally be fitted on Defender 110's. Also if the standard bolts will fit?

The PCD is different between the 2 cars so Wolf wheels would not fit. Also the centre hole is much bigger on a Defender which means that the studs would be taking the full weight of the car unless you could sort out some kind of spigot ring.It was perhaps modular wheels that you saw that have a similar hole pattern to a Wolf wheel. You can buy modular wheels that would fit a Freelander online if that was what you wanted.

If you keep an eye on eBay you can often spot a set of the correct fitting alloys tuning up - either Freelander 2 or Evoke or Discovery Sport all have the same fitment (IIRC).

There are some available in the "for Sale and Wanted" section in the forum on a regular basis as well.

You can buy them as a set on eBay with super gnarly retreads attached.
