Just going to replace the battery anyway the low voltage message has been coming for about 6 months and i was just ignoring it.

That battery sounds surprisingly cheap from Land Rover. |

It came in a landrover box with a part number, it was a varta battery, I have fitted the new battery and as yet have had no low voltage or gearbox fault alarms hopefully thats the problem solved.

The gearbox and HDC fault messages were some of the symptoms of the bad earth that made people fit the additional earth strap so I suspect your gearbox is OK and it's just the message that came up as there wasn't enough juice to power all the systems 2007 TD4 XS Manual in Sumatra Black |
