Short journeys do more harm when compared to cars that always fully warm up.

What I would do is get the timing belt/water pump done @ the 10yr service & next service get the gearbox diff & helix oil replaced, job done |

Just cost wise get them all done @ the 10 yr service & its big bucks, if cost is not a issue by all means get it all done same time. |

Only today, did I have a new timing belt /water pump kit fitted. I've never had a full service via Landrover, done. All my services were oil/filter change etc.

Mine will never see a landrover dealer 10 year service, I'll have the oils all changed at the 5 year mark and a cam belt well before the 10 years, for loads cheaper as well! |

My Fl2s have rarely needed a top up between oil changes. I cant actually remember when I last needed to do it. Top your car up and see if the level drops - you may have a leak or burning oil. Jules |

The engine oil spec should be in the owners manual. Jules |
