Just a question... What is the service schedule (km/miles time frame) for the td4 in the UK? It seems from little things I have seen in the forum that it may be 15,000 miles or yearly? In Australia its 12,000km or 6 months.

I'm just curious if they are different.

UK is indeed annual or 15000 miles. However, the service interval depends on where you are. For example in Cyprus my old Discovery needed an oil service every 6 months due to heat and dust but in UK it was only annually. Suspect the same is true in Australia.

It must be our climate I suppose. Did you get pictures of the recent massive dust storms that hit Sydney? A very rare occurrence. The car was covered with red dust and I couldn't see out of the windscreen at all. They even crossed the ocean and dropped on New Zealand. Speaking of which, NZ's climate is much more similar to the UK's. I wonder if they are hit for twice as many services?
