Having owned both FL2’s and a FF, the mirror to mirror figures only tell part of the story. The track is so much wider, while the width at rubbing strip level is so much greater.

I moved from a FL2 into a 3 door Evoque, because ive always liked the look of them in Coupe guise and I very rarely have back seat passengers. Mostly just me and the dog as the rest of the family all have their own cars.

90% of the time its fine, does exactly what I want it to do with no issues at all and ive very happy with it.

The ONLY annoyance for me is if I have the dog or dogs in the boot, and need to carry other stuff like bags or shopping etc etc and then it becomes a PITA to tilt the seats and move them forward on the switch (all Evoque 3 door are electric driver & front passenger memory seats) followed by the reverse to get things off the back seat. That is where 5 doors is needed.
