Freelander 2 will not start after cambelt repacment

2008 Freelander 2 HSE 2.2 TD4

Hi everyone, three weeks ago i had the cambelt changed on my Freelander 2 and since then it has failed to start. This was done at a reputable garage so no doubts it has anything to do with the garage. The car would crank and start for 2-3 seconds and cut out.

First thoughts was the immobiliser as the red light was flashing on the dash and i have had this experience before with a Defender TD5 and Discovery 2 TD5 when the battery was removed the immobiliser has kicked in and stopped the vehicle from starting.

The car went to a Land Rover garage as they have the best diagnostics software and they said no faults where found however they changed the cam sensor and still no difference. A leak off test was done and one injector had a higher volume than others therefor this was replaced, there was low fuel pressure so the filter has been replaced and the fuel pump sent away to be checked

The following has been done:
- Checked the timing
- Changed the tone ring
- Replaced Injector
- Replaced fuel filter
- Had ECU Checked
- Had fuel pump checked

Now the car will start but not idle and will only rev to 3000 RPM.

Does anybody have any ideas? or experienced this problem before?
