Well this place gets pretty cold in winter and I've never seen anyone bothering to lift their wiper arms. If it's been snowing you'll need to lift them to clean the snow off. It helps that with really low temperatures the blade doesn't freeze to the screen. driving on the right side |

I bought some last month from Aldi Michelin all weather wipers, £10 for two, I also bought a set for my MGZT V6 190.

Don't see much point of straight wipers on a curved windscreen Lift yours off and you may be surprised. If it wasn't so bad it'd be funny. 🐑 Freelander 2 HSE auto 2014 ( Florrie ) ..... Try again. Freelander 2 GS 2012...... Gone. |

Sorry to come back on this, but blanking off radiator has fuel saving effects on both a much quicker warm up and reduced under bonnet (turbulent) air. Before you notice, I will however admit to fitting mud flaps to my (aerodynamic?) FL2. Seriously though, even the new Jaguar i-Pace has air cooling intake control to improve the aerodynamics when cooling not needed. Lovely vacuum wipers, press the throttle and nothing! Great invention faster you go the slower the wipe! If you think they where bad, how about vacuum assisted hydraulic brakes fitted to lorries. My TK Bedford and my Thames Trader had them..........God knows why, they where bloody useless. |
