Do these combination of codes mean anything??

Hi All,

I bought a code reader because the car feels like the gearbox doesn't downshift when on low rpm's resulting the car to shake. It usually only happens on the freeway trying to hold a speed, it happens more if the car is full. initially I thought its fuel related but the below codes through me off.

U2023 - Fault received from external node
U0401 - invalid data received from engine control module/powertrain control module
B10A2 - Crash input
U0402 - Invalid data received from transmission control module
U0415 - Invalid data received from ABS control module
U3000 - Control module

I've had my Freelander 2 2009 Td4 for about 7 months now, it's got 140000km's on the clock. I haven't been in an accident so not sure why that "crash input" code is there. I replaced the battery when I first got the car when serviced it with Land Rover.

any ideas?

Ah, ok. My reader gives time, date and mileage, which I find helps to know whether the codes are old or new and whether they all occurred at the same time and therefore related.

Have you cleared the codes and confirmed that they return as soon as you take the car out for a short drive? 2005 D3 2.7 Auto
