How to remove the roofbar clips!

Hi I have never attempted to remove the genuine Land Rover roof bars before not want to move them slightly.

Only trouble is, I can't get the clips off to remove the plastic trim which gives access to the torx/Allen bolt underneath. I have put a flat head screwdriver in and turned them and they sort of come out a tiny bit but then pop back in if you make a full revolution.

I don't really want to break anything so what is the secret? I have searched online but cannot find anything out.

I have thank you. But they don't have the two extra roof bars on. Just the one structural one.

I would take a photo but my roof box is preventing me from getting my camera in.

Note :-

Roof RAILS run from front to back of the vehicle.

Cross BARs run from side to side.

This is the key tool you will need.

If they are the cross bars - in the end plastic trim which covers the fixing clip there should be a slot which a flat blade screw driver fits into - twist this 90 degrees and they should just pull away. If you turn more than 90 then you start to relock them.
