IIRC someone bought one of these and just by fitting it ...... it gave them an additional feature ???

I will try and find the thread.

Found it ........

http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic30340.htm...ing+switch

" ........I have changed the hard button strip to include the parking sensor button. As I only have rear sensors ( for now) it doesn't do a lot. The tell tale does light up when in reverse, and pressing while in reverse will turn the sensors off ......"

edit: second look at it, I think you need the 'eco' stop/start whilst driving in traffic feature ??

Thumbs Up

Anyone know if you can swap the positions of the hazard light switch and cd eject button to bring the hazards switch closer to the driver? Plugs on loom need extending? Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Bob, problem there is, both switch you want to swap, are 'handed' in shape. The Hazard switch has a slant on the left. The Eject button has a slant to the right.

Even if you could swap the switch facia ...... then you have to change the electrical inners.

Sorry ...... back to fitting the front fog lamps.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Bali Blue

Would this work on a MY10 GS facelift with the older dash?
Would like to turn them off when reversing boat trailer.
Thanks

I meant if I get the switch panel to suit the older dash?
There was one on eBay, might just try it.

Glad to see that my 14 MY automatically turns off the rear parking sensors when the caravan electrics are plugged in Thumbs Up Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

It may turn them off on previous models, not sure?
However you wouldn't usually keep electrics plugged in on a boat trailer while reversing down a slipway!
