It never rains...bolts and locks!

Hope there is someone who can set me right...I have two issues that I need help on!

Easy one to start - I took off my Mantec Sump guard to help the garage as I've just had a new turbo... unfortunately I left the correct bolts in place, and LR have 'lost' them, putting a couple of the original sort with the captive washers in to hold the undertray up.... Anyone with a Mantec sump guard let me have the length of their bolts please - I remember there were two different lengths...

And to finish - I've had a new drivers door central locking motor fitted, but now if you unlock it and get in, but don't start the engine, it relocks and sets the alarm, as if it hasn't detected the drivers door opening - anyone have a wiring diagram for the drivers door please?

Problem 1 ....... original bolts have been 'lost'

Problem 2 ....... Mantec have gone bust.

I recently fitted an original Mantec sump guard, which did not come with fixing bolts. The length of these bolts is NOT a problem as there is a great clearance. The bolts should be vibration proof.

Not sure what a vibration proof bolt is Shocked A spring washer below a flat washer always seemed to work well enough years ago. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

an Anti-Vibration Proof Bolt ........... has limited insertion due to its cut in the main thread.
(which could be why the garage changed it ........ and binned the old bolts ??)

Never seen bolts like that, was that before they invented Loctite?

My old Dad used to work on Spifires and he said they used locking wire (still used by British Leyland into the 70's) 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

Is this what you mean
http://molabolt.co.uk/products/anti-vibration-molabolt/

As others have said they is new to me. If so, they seem an expensive way of locking a non structural item. (advertised, I think at around £5 each) FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

1 Get the garage to sort the bolts . 2 get who ever fitted the lock to sort the problem. If you have paid money for something to be done .....

Although I agree with Alex.b that you should allow the person who got it wrong to get it right.

I wonder if it is only the drivers door that is not telling the central locking that it has been opened. (try them all)

I think you will find that each door individually signals " door ajar" to the central locking system and that is where you need to look if its only one door. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
