Why not chat up a LR dealer and see if you can borrow one for an extended test drive.

I know when I was trying to hire cars after a car accident, when a Mondeo wouldn't do, as the seats really hurt my back, that your best bet is smaller companies. The problem is, that even if the staff are very helpful and accomadating, they can't pre-book cars, just a class. They can just be helpful with giving you the choice as to what they have at their site right there and then. Hope you manage to, then buy one, best car I've ever had Rich |

Try Thrifty Car Rental, they have FL 2's on their hire fleet.

Thanks everyone for your valuable input...the trip is actually a week in Scotland...so that's probably beyond a delear extended test drive.
