The litter of puppies were born on Friday morning (mum is chocolate as you can see but dad is black hence the colour of the pups). Just received the photos this morning! We can go and choose in 2 weeks (we have decided on a boy at the 11th hour) and collect in March. The litter consists of 2 boys and 3 girls.

Cheers Already got a rubber ball and ring from the pet shop. I also got a nylabone for puppies which is perfect for lab pups because they are flavoured and designed to resist being chewed into oblivion. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

I think it’s a case of always making sure that the “ Bone “ is changed up in size as the dog grows Doc . Labs grow so quickly and their chewing ability is legendary, nothing is safe ! You will have a great companion there . Have you picked a name yet ? 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Yes we will call him Sam. We had a yellow lab many years ago and out of the puppies (black), my dad wanted to keep one and call it Sam but after careful consideration we didn’t keep him.

Good choice of dog, Labs are the best IMHO , meet my youngest, Bruno with his big sis Rosie, This was taken June 2016, so he's nearly 2 now.

When we went to choose our pup, the breeder advised us to just sit in the kitchen having a chat and a cup of tea and the pup will choose you so that’s what we did. After the initial excitement of us coming into the room, all pups went back in the bed and went to sleep except Susie who waddled over to us and looked up at me. Uncanny. Sounds silly but thinking of that still brings a lump to my throat nowdays.

5 pups in now and puppy raw hide strips are your friend! Buy about 200 at a time your pup will want to chew and chew and chew and these are a great outlet! |

That's a really nice thought Doc. Common sense isn't very common.
