United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Barolo Black
12s socket power supply

Hi all.
I have searched the topic and cant find an answer to this question

I need to fit a 12s socket (caravan charger) socket.
I figure i need a permanent live and a switched live to the relay.
Does anyone know if my 2007se would have power points already in the boot.
I found a bit about power supplies are in the luggage compartment fuse box.
The book claims, FA9 is 15amp trailer power and FA11 is 40amp trailer power, if i need one of these
Where do i connect up to. There must be a socket or plug somewhere or do i have to run power from
the front.
Thanks in advance for any help.

There is a socket behind the l/h rear trim panel that the trailer wiring plugs into.

This is for the later models but the principal is the same.

Hope that helps you.

Not just later model, my 2007 has it as well. Common sense isn't very common.

Thanks gents.
So i figure i can find factory pre wired power behind that panel for the caravan fridge and leisure battery 12s socket.

I already have a 12n light socket that must have been done when the tow bar was fitted.
Just double checking im reading this right lines.

It's on a 57 plate, doesn't mean it was made after yours though. Common sense isn't very common.
