TA signal permenent on

Yesterday when I turned my FL2 on the radio was off (I did not turn it off when parked). I turned it on and TA signal was on – permanently on every station. I tried to turn off radio turn TA off and on, but nothing helped, except turn TA permanently OFF. Any suggestion?

Try doing a hard reset, that might sort it. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

Not on the radio, the car. Disconnect the battery for 20 minutes then reconnect. You will have to reset one touch windows & clock afterwards. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Fuji White

Not sure if I read your original post correctly, but that is how my TA works.

In fact I leave my radio on all the time and just turn down the (radio) volume. This leaves the TA working, as the volumes of the Radio, TA, and Sat Nav are individually controlled. They can only be adjusted when either the Radio, TA, or SatNav are actually using speakers. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)

(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

IanMetro. Radio is behaving as every station I choose is sending TA signal, so I have to or cancel or setup TA off.
