**Moved from wrong thread**

If there were to be an FL3, it should look like this (imo), not that McGovern type concoction on the OP's post.
(But with the raised roof starting over the 'b' pillar)

FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

And they would probably have to change the name to "Dearlander" of "Expensivelander" if current pricing is anything to go by. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

not sure where they would shoehorn in a smaller l/r.the "footprint of the disco sport and the ewok must be very close to the freelander, and they deffo do not want to make it smaller, unless they want to move into crossover territory(god forbid) and line it up with the cactus and little Suzuki and Renault cars etc. Shocked
we spent an hour or so at our local stealers have the free winter health check a few weeks ago,and had a good look around, most impressed with the Velar, absolutely stunning in and out, fits in the r/r brand nicely above the Ewok and just under the r/r sport.
a friend has just traded his 07 d3 for an 07 L322 tdv8,absolutely stunning car,85k one owner, fantastic drive as well and surprisingly frugal when cruising. Mr. Green gone
P38 v8 auto no problems, great howle from exhausts when giving it welly
Td5 auto head gasket,no5 pot not uncommon but good car.
1st Tdv6s manual epb problem fixed under warranty(stealer said"never heard of this before,i suggested he looked at d3 forum.
2nd Tdv6 se auto epb
3rd Tdv6 xs auto 2008,swmbo,s favourite.

Counter argument - if they already have two cars of that Freelander/Disco Sport/Evoke size, why would they want to add a third one? Just to be cheaper with lower levels of equipment and trim? Personally I don't see what's wrong with adding a smaller model, as long as the off-road capability is retained. ----------

We if they don't produce something smart'ish to directly complete with the below their going to be loosing a lot of their current customer base once Freelander stock is finally age diminished.

I suppose Evoque's are cheap abroad with the low value of the pound. We'll have to go back to sourcing them from the continent again & driving left hand models if we want to stay with Land Rover? Shocked

My son came back from Kenya this week to go to a conference for Agronomists. When he first started in this job in 2010 he said that the hotel car park would be full of Freelanders, now it's full of Hilux, L200 etc pickup trucks. Another lost market. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
5 x FL2 4 manual + 1 auto
Now Discovery Sport P250 MHEV SE

I know, crazy isn’t it?!

But, his Jerryness seems convinced plans are infallible and I can’t believe that, in comparison, reality could get it so wrong!

That's probably due to two things:-
1, you can put more dirty stuff in the back of a pick up.
2, they're probably more reliable. MY13 Santorini Black SD4 HSE
