Hi I'm have trouble with my freelander 2 2007 diesel auto on the dash it came up loss of power.
on fault code reader it said p0183 fuel temperature sensor A circuit high input.
reset code came back has anybody had similar problem or know how to correct problem

I am currently having exactly the same problem. Only one fault recorded, fuel temp sensor..... anyoneone know where it is positioned on the vehicle, I am having trouble finding anything on web or forums...

It's that sensor on top of fuel filter, on the fuel line that goes to engine. If it's disconnected, it logs that error.
The connector has the habit to popping out from the sensor. I for one, I am using a toothpick to keep the connector latch in place.

I managed to finally download some detail, checked the sensor, which was also a bit wobbly. I cable tied it in place and have just completed a 550 km dirt road trip with absolutely no repeat of previous power loss!!
I am very relieved it was such a simple fix
