I have a similar issue and have bought a donor DC motor to swap out the bushes within the next few weeks.

I had same issue on drivers door. Not sure if heat makes it work, we don’t get any of that here!

There appears to be 4 options. Buy new from LR about £120. Buy used about £50. What's the point could fail next week? Strip the motor and fit replacement brushes. Tried that didn't work. Buy Chinese one for £30 off ebay or parts shop selling for £45 - £50 which I assume are the Chinese ones. Already done drivers door with Genuine LR one. Does anyone have any feed back on Chinese ones? Are they as reliable as Chech Genuine ones? Silver 2009 HSE |

WD40 dries off after a while so good for easing but the mountain bike stuff with added bits leaves lube behind and don't forget the tail gate and bonnet (thats hood if you are a Double Blank). FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years
