Happy new year all!
Here is the story.

My car showed engine coolant level low (Just below MIN mark) warning 3 days ago which I topped it up for about 600ml fluid.

Today after a 120Mile run to the airport, the warning came up again.

I could smell the smell of the coolant outside the car, there is a leak for sure.

The funny thing is, if the leak is somewhere around the radiator (upper/lower hose), the coolant should be all gone? I noticed the level of the coolant now was exactly the same as before (Just below the MIN mark).

Any idea what is going on with it? is it like a cracked expansion tank or loose expansion tank hose?

I've also had the low coolant warning when showing just below MIN. I topped up to just above MIN and it now seems to be fine even after a 4000 km round trip during summer.

Is it possible 600ml overfilled it and it's blown the excess out of the pressure cap?

Maybe try topping up with less coolant and make sure the top is securely tightened down?

I'm no expert but it's worked for me. driving on the right side
