OK nothing like having daft ideas 12,000 miles away but here we go for a mega meet in 2018.

On weekend of the longest day (Saturday) at the highest pub in England at 12 pm coming from several directions we arrive. Some could pre meet to travel in convoy but the whole point would be keep it simple. Some overnighting could be done.

So you have to work out the date and where it is and are you tempted ?

in 2016 I attended a Freelander meet at a farm outside of Peterborough, they got over 150 FL1 and only 3 FL2. Good showing though. Guess who won the Freelander Quiz in the evening I had to hand back the beers as I don't drink beer.

I will draw up a cunning plan (Baldrick) later in January/ February when back in UK. Would hope to attract enough interest to get some site sponsors to give the odd thing and run some spot prizes and a quiz (all about FL2’s). I will ask for some questions from you lot by a PM to me.

By then for those with no Geographical knowledge I can say where and exactly when and options re not drinking and driving.

YorkyBob, your meet clashes with the Freelanders Owners Club meet in 2018, now to be held at Gaydon Motor Museum (as it was in 2017)
