Same happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Van did not stop either. Fortunately the top bit was in one piece in the road, the glass was smashed to bits but the mech and bottom bit survived. Bought a replacement heated glass and all is back together again. The colour coded top bit seems to have taken the brunt of the hit as it had a colour change where it had flexed. Yep, did mine in the summer. Door card has to come off - all fairly straightforward. |

Thanks for the help guys,much appreciated,now looking for mirror,a lot on fleabay but they are mainly for the 2010 facelift models and upward,mine is a 59 plate ( sept 09)seems they will fit and plug in ok just a bit slimmer.
