door latch problem or not?

I noticed on the weekend that my front passenger door needs to be slammed quite hard in order for it to latch is this normal.
Whistle I had a go at the Mrs at the time as she shut it gently to find it not shut she tried 3 more times until I got out and shut it my self thinking she's doing it on purpose after the ear full she gave me when I bought another Landrover.
Shocked She wanted me to buy a Nissan leaf or a hybrid Censored not going to happen unless land rover bring one to the market.

No issue locking my wife out ever. Whistle

May be needs some lubrication but worth checking the latch screws are still holding tight as it may have been jolted off position. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

I checked all the torque bolts and greased the latch to find that it still doesn't work properly. If I gently swing my drivers door it shuts when I try the passenger door it doesn't shut fully could it be that the door latch striker needs adjustment?
