and I stupidly sold them on when I sold the car ... and now ive gone back to FL2

I just installed a set of the Yakima Whispbars on my 2013 FL with the sunroof yesterday. Currently I am unable to use the sunroof because it brushes up against the bars.. I got the K631 fitting kit and the S17YB bars. Does that sound like your setup.
I get the impression from your comments that you had no such issue, or did you have a variation of these parts?
The racks are brilliant.. just at not being able to open the sunroof.

My Yakima Roof Bars are YK S17 , with YK K455 (Smartfoot) Fitting kit.

They fit ok with opening Pan Roof FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 82k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
